Ruby Killough

Ruby Killough, 94, of Savannah, died Wednesday, May 30.

She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late James and Ocie Stotts Gant. She was united in marriage to Milton Killough who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Killough worked and retired from the Brown Shoe Company after 20 years of her service. She was a shoe assembler. Mrs. Killough aslo worked for J & M Auto Parts as a secretary. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Savannah.

Services were held on Friday, June 1, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Bobby Pickens officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.

She is survived by two sons, Larry W. of Jackson, Tenn. and Thomas B. Killough of Germantown, Tenn.; one sister, Fran Gibson of Fort Payne, Ala.; four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Mae Evelyn Rhodes, Lillian Maude Young, Emma Ruth Robinson, Ocie Opal Durbin, Mary Ella Kennington; three brothers J.E., Thomas Elgin and John Andy Gant.
