Sandra “Sandy” Dodd Brannan, 64, of Athens, Ala., formerly of Savannah, died Wednesday, June 12, at the Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala.
She was born in Massillon, Ohio, daughter of the late William and Helen Bartko Taylor. She was united in marriage to Thomas Brannan, who survives.
Mrs. Dodd, a veteran, served her country in the United States Air Force.Â
Services were held on Monday, June 17, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in the Old Union Cemetery at Hardin County.
In addition to her husband, Thomas Brannan of Athens, Ala., she is survived by two sons, Thomas Dodd of Frankville, Ala., and Jason Dodd of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Taylor of Greenville, Ohio, David Taylor of Nevada, Texas and Jim Taylor of Canton, Ohio; and one sister, Mary Wingate of Canton, Ohio.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty.
