Sara Ella Beasley Grigsby, 95, of Columbia, Tennessee, died Monday, Oct. 19, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
    She was the daughter of the late Seth Sparkman Beasley and Katherine Evans Beasley. She was united in marriage to Rev. Glenn Oliver Grigsby, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Grigsby was a retired cashier with Duck River Electric for 30 years; she had recently attended the second annual Duck River Retiree Luncheon in September and received the honor of the longest retired employee. She was a Superstar with the Maury Regional Auxiliary where she started volunteering in 1985. She was a member of Graymere Church of Christ.
    Survivors include her son, William Beasley Grigsby of Columbia, Tennessee; daughters, Martha Ann Hieronymus of Savannah and Ida Eugenia Pratt of Brandon, Florida; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wendell Robinson and Andrew Phillips officiating. Burial followed in Arlington Cemetery. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
