Tennie Stricklin

Tennie Allen Stricklin, 83, of Corinth, Miss., formerly of Savannah, died Sunday, Jan. 9, at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

He was the son of the late James and Mary Roach Stricklin. He was united in marriage to Katherine Stricklin, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Stricklin was retired from Spun Steel. He was of Baptist faith.

Services will be held today, Thursday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m., at Corinthian Chapel, with Bill Wages and Bobby Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Holly Cemetery.

He is survived by three daughters, Mary Katherine Keller of Corinth, Lela Jane Brawley and Debbie Griswell both of Ramer; five sons, David and Calvin Stricklin, both of Corinth, Mark of Counce, Gerry of Selmer and Perry Stricklin of Guys, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary Hillis of Corinth, Dorothy Frazier of Cleveland, Ohio; and one brother, R.D. Stricklin of Cleveland, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, William and Robert Stricklin; siblings, Naomi Davis and Harden Stricklin; and a grandchild.
