Thelma Jerrolds

Thelma Jerrolds was born in Savannah, on Oct. 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Johnnie Bannister and Mary Baxter Tidwell.

On May 18, 1958, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Paul Jerrolds, who preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 2007.

Mrs. Jerrolds was a photographer at Ken’s Studio.

She departed this life on Friday, Feb. 10, at the age of 74 years, 3 months, 17 days.

She is survived by a son, Rickey Jerrolds and wife Beverly of Savannah; two grandchildren, Kaylie and Tyler Jerrolds; two sisters, Gladys Hosea of Savannah and Agnes Hopper of Pampa, Texas; two brothers, J.R. Tidwell of Savannah and Charles Tidwell of Durham, N.C.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Beckham and Etta Hosea; two brothers, Murray and Tommy Tidwell.

Services were held on Monday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Stan Reynolds officiating. Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery at Hardin County.
