Thomas Duck, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 11, in Morris Chapel.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Davis Duck; children, Gordon Duck (Edna) of Reagan, Tenn., Carolyn Ross (David) of Beech Bluff, Tenn., Billy Duck (Judy) of Reagan, Tenn., Dianne Carter (Van) of Sardis, Tenn., Patsy Schulz (Lee) of Germantown, Tenn., and Joe Duck (Cindy) of Brentwood, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Richard Conaway (Stacey) of Summerville, S.C., Don Conaway (Bama) of Adamsville, Diane Thompson (Tommy) of Savannah, and Cindy Conaway (Scott) of Nashville; seven step-grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Neal Duck of Martin, Tenn., and one sister, Virginia Tucker of Reagan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frankie Duck; and sisters, Imogene Tucker, Exie McBride, and Lexie Story.

Funeral services were on Friday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m., at Reed’s Chapel in Scotts Hill with burial following in Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
