Tiffany Mitchell (8-7-11) services 8-13-11

Tiffany Elaine Mitchell was born in McNairy County on July 30, 1992, the daughter of Timothy Shane Mitchell and Tammy Lynn Stricklin Lopez.

Tiffany worked for The Savannah Courier and for Brose Recycling. She enjoyed swimming and being with her friends.

Tiffany departed this life on Sunday, Aug. 7, in Memphis, at the age of 19 years and 7 days.

She is survived by her father, Timothy Shane Mitchell of Savannah, her mother, Tammy Lynn Stricklin Lopez and step father, John Lopez of Adamsville; four brothers, Alex McClain of Adamsville, Thao Lopez, John Lopez and Antonio Lopez, all of Savannah; her grandparents, Joe and Billy Joe Mitchell, Tonaleah Mitchell, Marilee Worley and Maria Lopez, all of Savannah.

She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and a host of friends.

Tiffany was preceded in death by her grandfather Robert Stricklin and grandmother Geneva Sergeant.

Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 13, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Eric Isabell officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

The family wants to thank everyone very much who came out to the funeral home or helped in any way.
