Tommie L. Williams (4-13-11) services 4-16-11

Tommie L. Williams, 68, of Memphis, formerly of Milledgeville, died Wednesday, April 13.

He was born in Milledgeville, the son of the late Charles Loyd Williams and Adell Bishop Williams. He was united in marriage to Doris Jean Taylor, who survives.

Mr. Williams received his Bachelors Degree of Business and Accounting at Memphis State and was self-employed as a CPA. He was a member of the Crossroads United Methodist Church in Memphis.

Services were held on Saturday, April 16, at Lebanon Methodist Church in Saltillo with Rev. John Holt officiating. Burial was in the Lebanon Cemetery at Saltillo.

In addition to his wife, Doris, he is survived by three daughters, Patti Hopper of Memphis, Cheryl Doo of Atoka, Tenn., Kendra Michelle Angarita of Memphis; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Sylvia Hayes of Wildersville, Tenn. and Patricia Dickson of Scotts Hill, Tenn.; two brothers, Dean Williams of Louisiana and David Williams of Mississippi.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mike Williams.
