Tommy Roberts (7-27-17) service 7-30-17

Tommy Roberts, 72, of Milledgeville, died on Thursday, July 27, at his residence.
He was born in Memphis,  the son of the late John Henry and Mary Minnie Hedrick Roberts. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Weatherington, who survives. 
Mr. Roberts worked for 16 years as a truck driver for Pier 57.  He was a member of Elliston Baptist Church in Memphis and was a Scottish Rite and Mason. 
In addition to his wife, Carolyn, he is survived by his children, Tim Roberts of Nesbitt, Mississippi and Micki Stephens of Collierville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ronnie Osborne of Burleson, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Treece Foley; one sister, Alta Bonicelli; and a brother, Melvin Roberts.
Services were held on Sunday, July 30, at Hurricane Primitive Baptist Church in Milledgeville with Ronnie Osborne, Allen Broughton and Cecil Woodruff officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery at Milledgeville, Tennessee.
