Troy Weeks

Troy Weeks, 73, of Savannah, died on Sunday, Dec. 23.

He was born in Corinth, Miss., the son of the late Charles Victor and Sallie Shepard Forsythe Weeks. He was united in marriage to Jean Melson, who survives.

Mr. Weeks served his country in the United States Army. He had worked for Wolfe Sales Company for 35 years as a restaurant equipment installer. He was a member of Love and Truth Church.

Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 27, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Philip Meek officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Weeks of Savannah; two sons, Greg Weeks and Jeff Weeks, both of Savannah; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Hamilton of Savannah, Barbara Ervin and Peggy Lassiter, both of Corinth, Miss.; and one brother, Fred Weeks.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Randolph Weeks.
