Vada Templeton (6-1-11) services 6-4-11

Vada L. Sanders Templeton, 85, of Michie, died Wednesday, June 1, of Alzheimer’s Disease, at her home.

Ms. Templeton worked retail at Bergners, Grants and finally Ventures Stores where she was a department manager for 20 years.

Services were held on Saturday, June 4, at Center Hill Baptist Church in Counce with Keith Driskell officiating. Burial followed in the Center Hill Cemetery at Counce.

She is survived by her daughter, Deb Templeton, and her son, Jean Templeton, both of Michie. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Legacy Hospice, 137 Cypress Ave, Selmer, Tenn. 38375. Or she can be honored by providing time as a volunteer for Legacy Hospice or any hospice organization.
