Vikki Alt

Vikki Lynn Hubbard Alt, of Morris Chapel, was born in Hardin County on March 25, 1965, the daughter of Charles Edward Hubbard and Barbara Jean Bowen Hubbard.

On Sept. 18, 2001, she was united in marriage to Robert Bruce Alt, who survives.

Mrs. Alt drove a truck for Frozen Food Express for a year and had also worked for The Courier for three years. She was a life long Hardin Countian. She enjoyed writing, caring for animals, especially cats. Mrs. Alt loved traveling and enjoyed music, renovating homes, and taking care of her husband. She was an aspiring author and was half through writing a novel. She was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church and Union University Alumni.

Mrs. Alt departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 22, at the age of 45 years, 9 months, 28 days.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her stepmother, Brenda Hubbard of Morris Chapel; two stepsons, Justin Alt and Joshua Alt, both of Savannah; two brothers, Randy Hubbard and Glenn Hubbard, both of Morris Chapel; a special aunt, Mary Hubbard of Savannah, Tennessee; two nieces, Charity Hubbard and Shelby Hubbard both of Jackson, Tenn.; several aunts and uncles.

Mrs. Alt was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Fred and Annie Mae Bowen; paternal grandparents, Bud and Charity Hubbard.

Services will be held Friday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m., at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church with Roger Henson officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery.
