Virginia Curtis (3-30-10) services 4-2-10
Virginia Curtis Virginia Stricklin Curtis, 77, of Winchester, Tenn., died on Tuesday, March 30, at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late M.A. and Nannie Viola Pickens Stricklin. She was employed by Lanier Clothing and Winchester Hat Corporation. Services were held on Friday, April 2, at Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Steven Lester officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Winchester, Tenn. She is survived by her husband, James H. Curtis; daughters, Cathy Baxter and Lydia Curtis Johnson, both of Winchester, Tenn.; brothers, Thomas Stricklin and Johnny Stricklin, both of Savannah; four grandchildren and great-grandson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Joel Timothy Curtis; sisters, Annie Laura Markham, and Melissa Baugus; and brothers, Leonard, Melton, Vernon and Lender Stricklin.
