Willie Casey (2-23-14) service 3-1-14

Willie T. Casey, 69, of Bath Springs, died Sunday, Feb. 23. He was born in Bath Springs to Rosie L. Johnson and the late Wesley Stephens. He was united in marriage to the late Sandra Harris Casey.

He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years and worked for the U.S. Postal Service.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Anthony and Willie Casey Jr. of Saltillo; two daughters, Sonya Green of Dayton, Ohio, Rochelle Casey of Corning, N.J.; two brothers, Randy and James Johnson of Saltillo; six sisters, Dorothy McDaniel of Saltillo, Maxine Ross of Savannah, Marcealeate Ruffin and Stephanie Stephens of Dover, Del., Vernice Collins of Cranston, R.I. and Judy Stephens of Gary, Ind.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Thomas Johnson and a granddaughter.

Services were Saturday, March 1 in Bath Springs with Eddie Payne and Eugene Ellison officiating. Burial followed at Saltillo Cemetery in Saltillo.
