Buddy Calley Wilton "Buddy" Calley, 80, of Florence, Ala., formerly of Savannah, died Friday, Jan. 20, at Glenwood Rehab and Convalescent Center in Florence. He was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Margie Calley. He was united in marriage to Mildred Geneva Calley, who preceded him in death. Mr. Calley was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired iron worker. Services were held Monday, Jan. 23, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, Miss., with Ted Vafeas officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. He is survived by one son, Gary Calley of Florence, Ala.; two daughters, Kay Sibley of Muscle Shoals, Ala. and Becky Haley of Savannah; one sister, Euple Brumle of Iuka, Miss.; three grandchildren.
