Ancil David Harville, 84, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, Feb. 24, at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah. He was born on Aug. 31, 1938, in Savannah, the son of the late Marvin and Chrystal Walker Harville.

He was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Walker on Sept. 2, 1966, and they were married for almost 48 years.

On Dec. 25, 2015, he was united in marriage to Mildred Sue Wilbanks, who survives.

Mr. Harville was a retired pipefitter and worked many years providing for his family. He enjoyed going to Mule Day in Columbia and Walking Horse shows along with spending time with his family. He was a member of Barnhill United Methodist Church in Savannah and served many years as Sunday school superintendent and as a Sunday school teacher.

In addition to his wife, Sue, he is survived by his children, Andrea Finley of Adamsville, Max Walker of Adamsville, Lisa Pickens and husband Jimmy of Savannah, Kim Cooke and husband Tommy of Savannah, and Steve Florence of Savannah. He is also survived by a sister Kay Jordan and husband Don of Jackson, Tennessee; a brother-in-law, Jerry Littlefield and wife Norma of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Ryan Finley, Molly Finley (Dylan), Lauren Butler (Taylor) and their son Walker, Luke Walker (Katie), Amanda Lambert (Josh), Heather Kilburn (Steven), Matthew Pickens (Lace), Brandon Young (Trista), Spence Cooke; as well several great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Margaret, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Harville.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, March 1, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville, with Charles Linam officiating. Burial followed at Adamsville Cemetery.
