Lynkin Cruz Azahares, 4, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, June 29, the son of Alfredo Azahares and Kayla Griffith.
Lynkin loved being outside and enjoyed jumping on his trampoline and planting flowers in his garden. He also liked to watch TV and play on his phone. Most of all, Lynkin loved to spend time with his family. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Kayla Griffith and her husband James; father, Alfredo Azahares; sisters, Aniiya Kilpatrick, Brooklyn Griffith, and Harlee Murphy; brother, Sergio Terry; grandparents, Tori Hutcheson, Frank Hutcheson, Steven Murphy, Carla Shearon, Mike Shearon, and Nancy Azahares; great- grandfathers, Johnny Petty and Randy McLin; uncle, Kevin Wayman; aunts, Emily Murphy, Chloe Murphy, and Laura Hernandes; and cousin, Hazlee Wayman.
Lynkin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sergio Azahares; and great-grandmothers, Joyce Petty and Sally McLin.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 3 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Eric Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Neill Cemetery in Savannah.
