Barbara Franks (10-3-23) service 10-6-23

Barbara Jean Bonee Franks, 71, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 3, in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Arby T. and Cordie Turner Bonee.

She was united in marriage to Tommy Joe Franks, who preceded his wife in death.

Mrs. Franks was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Doran and Tommy Franks; seven grandchildren; one great- grandson; sister, Mary Ann Melson Sanford; and brother, David Bonee.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Garrett Franks and Bentley Franks; and one brother, Jerry Bonee.

Memorial services were held on Friday, Oct. 6, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Dean Haggard officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Savannah.
