Barbara Sappington, 78, of Scotts Hill, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 19, the daughter of the late J.W. Jolly and Lucille Abbott.
Ms. Sappington retired from the nursing field where she worked as a licensed practical nurse.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Holly of Scotts Hill; son, Joseph Sappington of Clarmore, Oklahoma; sister, Myrtle Lee Terry of Scotts Hill; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Pinson.
