Benny Michael Plunk, 74, of Savannah, passed away on Monday, April 10, the son of the late Arlus and Lillian Plunk.

He was united in marriage to Diane Lyn Darden, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Plunk served his country in the U.S. Army. After his service, he owned and operated a pest control business, a bbq business and Plunk Concessions. He also spent time working for Memphis Sash and Door.

He is survived by his daughters, Tonya Self of Henderson, Tennessee, and Jessica Vasquez of La Panta, Arkansas.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Smith.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, April 15, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Robert Richardson officiating. Burial followed at Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Friendship, Tennessee.
