Bess Taylor Cook, 88, of Savannnah, passed away on Saturday, July 8, the daughter of the late Grant Taylor and Hazel McCullar Kinchen.
Mrs. Cook was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Lynne Weaks of Savannah; son, Steven Martin of Marietta, Georgia; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Rhonda Mooney and Janice Browder; and brother, Robert Kinchen.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marvin Cook , she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Martin; and sister, Glenda Armstrong.
Services were held on Thursday, July 13, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial followed at Mount Herman Cemetery.
