Betty Ann Hurst (7-9-22) service 7-17-22

Betty Ann Davis Hurst, 72, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, July 9. She was born in Hardin County, and is the daughter of the late Louis Ross and Cinderella Davis. She was united in marriage to James Robert Hurst, who preceded her in death.

Betty Ann had lived in Hardin County, for most of her life, but for 20 years had called McNairy County home as well. She was a member of St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church in Savannah.

She is survived by her children, Rodney O. Davis of Jacksonville, Florida and Rhonda O. Davis of Savannah; sisters, Mary Ross and Barbara Ross, both of Savannah; brother, Willie E. Davis of Clarksville, Tennessee; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Sunday, July 17, at St. John’s Missionary Baptist in Savannah, with Sam Reeves officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
