Bobby Davidson, 86, of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 28. He is the son of the late John Walker and Berta Marie McCasland Davidson.

He was united in marriage to June Pipes Davidson, who survives.

Mr. Davidson honorably served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He was employed at National Vendors in St. Louis, Missouri for 30 years where he worked as a supervisor and also worked for East-West Trucking in Selmer, for 13 years. He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Robert Melvin Davidson Hillsboro, Missouri, Jeffrey Davidson of Clifton, Tennessee, and James Davidson of Dickson, Tennessee; brother, Roy Estes Davidson of Savannah; sisters, Betty Joyce Reeves of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, Norma Stricklin of Collierville, Tennessee and Helen Hickox of Cairo, Mississippi; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherrie Davidson; son, Donald Davidson; sister, Elnora Creekpaun;  brothers, J.W. Davidson and Andy Loyd Davidson.

Services were held on Monday, Oct. 3, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Barry Binion and Tracy Love officiating. Burial followed at Mountain View Church of Christ Cemetery in Savannah.
