Brenda Cossey White, 65, of Southaven, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 2. She was born on January 24, 1958, in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Ottie and Claudine Hughes Cossey.

Ms. White worked at Harrah’s Grand Casino as a dispatcher for twenty plus years. She was of the Baptist belief. Brenda loved crafting, watching grand babies play ball, her special dog named Sadie and she was queen of Facebook.

She is survived by her mother, Claudine Cossey of Southaven, Mississippi; daughter, Christy Davis (Scott) of Hornlake, Mississippi; son, Eric White of Hornlake, Mississippi; brother, Steve Cossey (Pam) of Southaven, Mississippi; grandchildren, Allison Hays (Cody), Dalton Davis and Payton Davis; great-grandchildren, Ryder and Myles Hays; and many more that called her Nana; and nephews, Tyler Cossey (Nina) and Phillip Heath (Pam) both of Southaven, Mississippi.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shelia Heath; and nephew, Dallas Cossey.
