Carl Lynn Hughes, 63, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, Dec. 9. He is the son of the late C.L. and Pearl Stricklin Hughes.
He was united in marriage to Teresa Melson Hughes, who survives.
Mr. Hughes worked as a truck driver for Williams Lumber Company and previously worked for several years at Angelica. He was a member of New Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Savannah.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Evelyn Wilkerson of Savannah; son, Roger Hughes of Savannah; and brother, Jeff Hughes of Savannah.
Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Shane Riley officiating. Burial followed at Forest Ridge Cemetery in Savannah.
