Charlie Smith (8-20-22) service 8-24-22

Charlie Smith, 73, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 20, in Savannah. He is the son of the late Paul and Marie Smith.

Mr. Smith had worked for Wolfe Sales Company and retired as a restaurant equipment installer for American Food Service. He attended Morris Chapel Baptist Church.

Charlie is survived by his children, Kim Kelley, Shannon Cummings, LaShawn Tanner and Jeremy Smith, all of Savannah; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Rickey Smith of Savannah; and sister, Pam Johnson of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Brasfield.

Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Mike Moore officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Savannah.
