Christopher Boykin (8-26-23) no service information

Christopher Lea Boykin, 49, of Pearland, Texas, formerly of Savannah, and Florence, Alabama, passed away and departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 26. He was born in Freeport, Texas on March 27, 1974, the son of Dannie Boykin and Jacqueline Thomas Creasy.

Chris traveled working construction for many years. He enjoyed riding and training horses. He gained his love of horses through his grandfather, Daddy Buck. He passed this passion on through his daughters as they spent much time at the barn. Chris never met a stranger and enjoyed friend and family gatherings.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his children Logan Boykin, Rebecca Boykin, Megan Stackens (Skyler) and his first grandchild, baby girl Stackens, who is expected Nov. 3. He is also survived by a sister Samantha Boykin Parker and three brothers Teddy Boykin, Delano Boykin and Daniel Boykin.

He really enjoyed singing. His favorite song was “I’ll Fly Away” which he sang to his daughters often… and told them to remember it.
