Daniel Purvis (2-10-23) service 4-1-23

Daniel Michael Purvis, 67, of Adamsville, passed away on Friday, Feb. 10, the son of E.A. Lee and Virgie Purvis.

He was married twice, first to Vicki, and then to Jerri, with each union blessing him with children.

Mr. Purvis was in the U.S. Army for more than three years. He was awarded the National Defense Service medal. He was a self-employed renovations contractor. He attended Spirit and Truth Sanctuary in Adamsville.

He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Norris and Rachael Gable; son, Joshua Purvis; stepdaughters; Tamar and Debbie Sweeney, adopted son Cameron; brothers Farley and David Purvis; sisters, Betty Kuhn, Joyce Davis, Debbie Leath and Wilma Jean Moore; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, with one of the way.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, April 1, at Spirit and Truth sanctuary in Adamsville.
