David Higgins (3-14-23) service 3-19-23

David Russell Higgins, 72, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, the son of the late J. C. and Lorene Higgins.

Mr. Higgins was self-employed working on transmissions.

He is survived by his brothers, Merle Higgins, Freddy Higgins and Douglas Higgins; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Anthony Higgins, Rickey Higgins and Daniel Higgins; brother, Bruce Higgins; and grandparents, Robert and Bessie Haynes, and Dwelling and Cassie Higgins.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, March 19, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Rannie Moore officiating. Burial followed at Graham Cemetery in Savannah.
