David Eugene Phillips, 66, of Counce, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 14. He is the son of the late William Egbert and Mabel Jewel Hamilton Phillips.
David worked for Frank Carroll Sod Farm for 40 years and was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Wanda Stricklin of Counce; and brother, James L. Phillips of Counce.
Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Pisgah United Methodist Church in Savannah, with Paul Childers officiating. Burial followed at Pisgah Cemetery in Shiloh.
