Donald “Donnie” Eugene Hindmon, 71, of Adamsville, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 6, in Savannah. He was born on Aug. 3, 1951, in Corinth, Mississippi, to the late Luther Hindmon and mother, Zula Hindmon.

Mr. Hindmon was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church and a retired factory worker. He loved his family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching western movies and he loved Civil War history.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patricia Hindmon; son, James Stricklin; daughters, Allison Stricklin (Tim Martin) and RoiAnna Hindmon; six grandchildren, Jocelyn Stricklin, Tyler Stricklin, Ronin McCoy, Mahala Corona, Willow Stricklin and Olivia Martin; brother, Charles Hindmon (Anita); sister, Dianne Rickman (Billy Ray); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial services were held on Friday, Nov. 11 at Magnolia Funeral Home, 2024 US-72, Corinth, Mississippi, with Tory Dillard and Paul Childers officiating. Internment followed at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Counce. Pallbearers were Chris Rickman, Taylor Rickman, Jimmy Welch, Andy Welch, Andrew Copeland and Tyler Stricklin.
