Doris Haugen (7-20-23) no services to announce

Doris Genevive Rasmussen Haugen, 89, of Crump, passed away on Thursday, July 20, the daughter of the late Walter Alexander and Ida May Thornton Rasmussen.

She was united in marriage to Hubert Haugen.

Mrs. Haugen was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Hatton, North Dakota. She was a member of the Cando High School Half Court Basketball Team.

She worked as a nurse at Union Hospital in Mayville, North Dakota. She also worked at Haugen Upholstery and on a Mayville farm. She was also a dialysis medical professional, worked at Woolworth, and as a storage unit manager in Memphis.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Hubert Haugen of Crump; daughters, Char Haugen Helgeson of East Grand Forks, Minnesota and Javayne (Marty) Oyloe of Williston, North Dakota; son, Ken Haugen of Crump; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Axmark and Esther Brandt; brothers, Kenneth Rasmussen and Ralph Rasmussen; one grandson, Luke Allen Oyloe.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
