Elizabeth Haynes Steakley, 67, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 31, the daughter of the late Dr. James W. Haynes and Betty Reynolds Haynes.
Ms. Steakley attended Hardin County High School and then went on to be a certified operating room technician. She worked at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, and McNairy County General Hospital in Selmer, for many years. She was also a part of the wait staff at the Pickwick Inn Restaurant.
She is survived by a brother Jim W. Haynes, D.Ph; a son Joshua Alan Steakley; and two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hardin County Library.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
