Emma Evon Frazier, 83, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, April 1. She was born on June 18, 1939, in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of George and Leona Price.

On Aug. 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to James “Curly” Frazier, who preceded his wife in death on Sept. 2, 2004.

Mrs. Frazier was a devout Christian who devoted her life to her husband and children. She was a caretaker for her immediate family members, including her mother, mother-in-law and her husband. Emma was a wonderful cook and loved her flowers and hummingbirds.

She is survived by her sons, Dannie (Mary) Frazier, Aaron (Kathy) Frazier, and Keith (Martha) Frazier; daughters, Judy Frazier, Rita (Steve) Proctor, and Freda Frazier all of Savannah, Teresa (Mike) Snyder of Florence, Alabama, and Ginger (James) Torrance of Medina, Tennessee; sister, Martha Atkinson of Florence, Alabama; 19 grandkids; and 34 great grandkids.

In addition to her husband and parents, Emma was preceded in death by her son, Mark Frazier; brothers, G.F. Price, John Lewis Price, Carl Price, and Larry Price; and sisters, Dorothy Beasley, Peggy Goad and Marie Mooneyhan.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, April 4, at Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial followed at Lutts cemetery in Lutts, Tennessee.
