Etta Morris (3-2-23) service 3-11-23

Etta Lee Wilkerson Morris, 95, of Savannah, passed away on Thursday, March 2, in Henderson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Kels Linville and Linnie Wilkerson Pickens.

She was united in marriage to William H. Morris, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Morris owned and operated a motel in North Carolina for five years. She worked at Savannah Green House for 18 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah.

She is survived by her half sisters, Margaret Franks Perry and Nancy Webb, both of Savannah; and half brother, Grady Pickens of Savannah.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Buck Pickens; sisters, Nannie Sue Copeland, Estelle Conner and Thelma Hemby; and brothers, William Pickens and Bill Pickens.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 11, at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
