Eva Sowell (9-26-23) service 9-30-23

Eva Oberia Sowell, 95, of Michie, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 26, in Savannah, the daughter of the late Ivan Washington White and Nona Pyran White.

She was united in marriage to Lawrence Sowell, who preceded her in death. She attended the Church of Christ, then West Shiloh Baptist Church and Riverview Baptist Church

In addition to her parents and husband, she preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Neal Sowel; and thirteen brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Hill; sons, Larry Sowell and Rickey Sowell; and brothers, Roger White and Philp White.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, with Steve Littleton officiating. Burial followed at West Shiloh Cemetery in Stantonville.
