Freeda Davis, 72, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, April 21, in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born on June 4, 1950, in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Clyde and Bessie Mae Pinson Austin.

Ms. Davis was the owner and operator of Davis Quick Mart for over 20 years. She was a member of Graham United Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed flower gardening, crafting, hairdressing and watching the Hallmark Channel. One of Freeda’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, they were her life.

She is survived by her children, Lori LaPack and her husband Chris of Germany, and Kevin Barrier and his wife Stephanie of Savannah; grandchildren, Christopher LaPack, Hannah LaPack, Eli LaPack, Neely Barrier and Nadalee Barrier; sisters, Helen Joyce Walker and Carolyn “Nanny” Cornelius, both of Savannah; and brother, Jerry Austin of Savannah.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 28, 1 p.m., at Graham United Methodist Church in Savannah, with Jason Estes, Tony Polk and Chris LaPack officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden cemetery in Savannah.
