Geneva Gibbs (12-17-22) service 12-21-22

Geneva Ernestine Browder Gibbs, 89, of Crump, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17, in Adamsville. She was born in Hardin County, on April 6, 1933, the daughter of the late Henry Andrew and Pearl Campbell Browder.

On Aug. 26, 1950, she was united in marriage Herbert Hoover Gibbs, who preceded his wife in death on Jan. 3, 2010.

Mrs. Gibbs worked for Hardin County Board of Education for six years and the Senior Citizens Center for three years. She was of the Pentecostal belief. She collected Precious Moments and dolls. In her spare time she loved working in her flowers.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Andrew Gibbs and Debbie Gibbs Shutt, both of Crump; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Gibbs Barham; and one son, David Gene Gibbs.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Crump Cemetery in Crump,with Tyler Gibbs officiating.
