Hubert Jack Mclin (5-27-23) service 6-1-23

Hubert Jack Mclin, 82, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, May 27, peacefully surrounded by family and friends. He is the son of the late James Carl and Flora Hill Mclin. He was united in marriage to Barbara Downing Mclin, who preceded him in death .

Mr. Mclin worked in the timber industry his entire life.

He is survived by his children, Scottie Mclin, Hassell Mclin, both of Savannah, and Kelly Long of Collinwood, Tennessee; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and sister, Carolyn Sue Bryant of Adamsville.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Mclin Garrard; six sisters; and four brothers.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, June 1, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Geneva Middleton officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Savannah.
