Issac Dan Emerson (1-2-23) service 1-9-23

Isaac Dan Emerson, 84, of Nashville, formerly of Counce, passed away on Monday, Jan. 2, the son of the late William and Carrie Emerson.

He was united in marriage to Eulu Love Emerson, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Emerson spent 30 years preaching in various churches in West Tennessee and Northeast Mississippi, including First Baptist in Counce.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Joan Krohn, Betty Emerson, Jane Jones and Tommy Emerson.

He is survived by his children, John, James, Joel, Jenny and Jason; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and two siblings Sue Vincent and Joyce Ray.

Memorial services were held on Monday, Jan. 9, at Lakewood Baptist Church in Donelson, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Second Harvest Food Bank or Alive Hospice.
