James Cotner (8-6-23) service 8-10-23

James “Jim” Cotner, 70, of Crump, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 6, in Counce, the son of the late Raymond Delong and Mattie Magdeline Meeks Cotner.

He was united in marriage to Eva Ledell Austin, who survives.

Mr. Cotner was a retired driver for Medical Plaza Pharmacy in Corinth, Mississippi.

In addition to his wife of 37 years, Eva Austin Hicks Cotner of Counce, he is survived by his children, Cynthia Cotner of Corinth, Mississippi, Nick Cotner of Corinth, Mississippi, and Angela Pickens of Michie, Tennessee; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Shirley Meek of Counce; and brother, Randy Cotner of Counce.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Cotner and Earl Cotner.

Memorial Services were held on Thursday, Aug. 10, at Pisgah United Methodist Church in Shiloh, with Tony Polk and Robert Howse officiating.
