James Ray “Jamie” Shelley, 38, of Savannah, passed away on Friday, Nov. 3. He was born on Oct. 25, 1985, in Jackson, Tennessee, the son of Rickey Shelly and Lisa Tidwell Shelley.

Jamie worked on the production line at Wise Company and was a member of Souls Harvest Church of God in Savannah. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the gym and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa Shelley; father, Rickey Shelley and his wife Barbara; sister, Jessica Renee Shelley; fiancee, Jessica Worley; grandparents, Richard and Barbara Shelley; niece, Gracie Shelley; and his “little sidekick”, LilyAnn. Jamie also leaves behind his favorite cat, Luna, who he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Geneva Watson; and aunt, Kathy Wood.

Memorial Services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Souls Harvest Church of God in Savannah, with Jeff Crosswhite officiating.
