Jan Becerra, 54, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 30. She was born on Jan. 2, 1969, in Texas, the daughter of the late Jimmy Lloyd and Martha Lou Ray Cox.

On March 23, 2002, she was united in marriage to Raul Becerra, who survives.

Jan was a social butterfly and made many friends throughout her life. She was a talented artist and great cook. She loved music and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Raul Becerra of Savannah; sons, Trevor Thomas Heath Juelfs of Savannah, Dillon Brody Lloyd Juelfs of Huntsville, Alabama, and Mason Jimmy Riley Becerra of Savannah; daughter, Raven Talia Victoria Becerra of Savannah; sisters, Wanda Young of Savannah, Sandra Cox Collins of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Judy Morris of Savannah; grandchild, Kyzz’r Earl-Lee Dean Juelfs; and another grandchild on the way.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, with Mitch Boulton officiating. Burial followed at Hollands Creek Cemetery in Savannah.
