Janet Roberts (2-27-23) no service

Janet Gail Bunn Roberts, 73, of Savannah, passed away on Monday, Feb. 27. She was born on Aug. 12, 1949, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Neal Barnett and Janet Evelyn Lyles Bunn.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah. She worked as the office manager for Dr. Jim Thomas’ office for 15 years and Dr. GiGi Wood Davis’ office for 20 years. Patients who came in contact with her remember her for kindness and compassion. She enjoyed playing the piano and clarinet and decorating cakes for weddings and birthdays. Gail loved her cats.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Ruth “Babs” Bunn; favorite nephew, Brent Anderson (Shannon); great nieces, Janna Anderson Franks (Jackson) and Mary Kate Anderson Kadar (Steven); great nephews, Nick Anderson and Cory Gilbert (Mallory); and seven great- great nieces and nephews, whom she loved as if they were her own children. She also leaves a host of special cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 5, at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah. No funeral service.
