Jason Stockard (4-17-23) service 4-21-23

Jason Alan Stockard, 49, of Enville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, April 17, in Saltillo. He is the son of Alan Ray Stockard and Anna Elizabeth Brasher Dennis.

Mr. Stockard graduated from Adamsville High School. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Freed-Hardeman University.

He was a member of Milledgeville Church of Christ. He was a professor of English as a Second Language in China for over seven years, where he also acted as a missionary for Jesus Christ. He was employed by CoreCivic in Clifton.

He is survived by his parents, Alan Ray Stockard (Kathy) and Anna Elizabeth Brasher Dennis (John); and his sisters, Katie Day, Lissy Alexander, Kassey Dennis, Andrea Clark and Trixy Grant.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clinton Eugene Brasher, Jane East Brasher, Nolan Ray Stockard and Jackie Huse Beavers.

Memorial services were held on Friday, April 21, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville. Burial followed at Milledgeville Cemetery in Milledgeville.
