Jessie Mae Blackwell, “Jackie”, 67, of Finger, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, Nov. 25, at her home. She was born on June 17, 1955, in Frenchman Bayou, Arkansas, to Melvin Lee and Nora Mae Miller Pickle.

Mrs. Blackwell retired from Wal-Mart after 35 years. She was a pastors wife, secretary and treasurer of her church and she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband John Blackwell of Finger, Tennessee; two sons, John (Sandra) Blackwell Jr. of Adamsville, and Raymond (Renee) Blackwell of Hartsville, Tennessee; four brothers, Jerry Pickle of Crawfordville, Florida, Jessie Pickle of Smithville, Mississippi, David Pickle of Ripley, Tennessee and Melvin Pickle of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Tessie West of Nettleton, Mississippi and Tammy Dean of Springfield, Tennessee; and one great-grandchild, Zoella.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jim Miller and Jerald Pickle.

Visitation and funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Genesis Pentecostal Church of God in Sandy Ridge, Arkansas. Burial followed at Bassett Cemetery in Bassett, Arkansas, with Ron Lawson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas was in charge of the arrangements.
