Jimmy Earl Robinson, 74, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, the son of the late Robert Earl and Frances Eldene Reynolds Robinson.

Mr. Robinson served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy from November 1967 until September 1971. He worked along beside his father at Robinson’s Logging as a truck driver. He was a member of F & A Masons, Savannah Lodge, Scottish Rite of Fremasonry, Pickwick Shrine Club, Al Menah Shriners, and Campground Methodist Church.

He is survived by his children, Chasity McWhirter, Jaime Reaves and Kala Traylor; sister, Freeda Robinson Ashe; and eight grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gerry Robinson.

Memorial services will be held Friday, March 3, at 3 p.m., at Campground Methodist Church in Savannah, with Rob Ashe and Brad Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery in Savannah.
