Joan Hossa (7-23-22) service 7-28-22

Joan Young Hossa, 86, of Bartlett, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 23. She was born to the late Joe and Addye Lee Young in Savannah and was raised in Adamsville.

She worked at First Assembly Christian School for more than 25 years. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Ralph Hassa.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Cathy Bickers, Tamara Burton and Hope Sneed; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister Brenda Galloway.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for the Senior Saints Scholarship Fund at Johnson University.

Services were held on Thursday, July 28, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
