John Scott McPherson (12-4-22) service 1-21-23

John Scott McPherson, who was known as Scott, 60, of Springville, Alabama, formerly of Counce, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 4. He was born on Aug. 22, 1962, the son of John Warren McPherson and Susan Strassle.

He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a protector, a listener, and good friend.

Mr. McPherson attended North Carolina State University and spent the last 20 years working as a salesman for various auto salvage companies and ending his career at Knox Auto Parts in Birmingham, Alabama.

He was proceeded in death by his father, John Warren McPherson.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lesa McPherson; his mother Susan; his brother Brian McPherson; three daughters, Melissa McPherson, Allyson (McPherson) Cherry and Brooklyn McPherson; son-in-law, Austin Cherry; three grandsons, Blake McPherson, Mason McPherson-Ray and Calvin Cherry; his nephew, Brooks McPherson; and his niece Rachel (McPherson) Cruce.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m., at Love and Truth Church in Savannah, 2425 Pickwick St. Friends can start arriving for visitation at 12:30 p.m.
