Johnny McAfee (4-8-23) service 4-12-23

Johnny McAfee, 63, of Michie, passed away on Saturday, April 8, the son of the late John Wesley and Bobbie Lee Harston McAfee.

He was united in marriage to Tina Sagely, who survives.

Mr. McAfee was a member of Childers Hill Pentecostal Church in Counce. He worked at Hagy’s Catfish Hotel for 44 years.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Tina McAfee of Michie; son, Christopher Lane McAfee of Counce; daughter, Crystal Lynn McAfee Edwards of Counce; five grandchildren; brother, Joey McAfee of Michie; sister, Phyllis McAfee Ballard of Shiloh; and half sisters, Connie Salmon Terry of Michie, and Angie Davis Haynes of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Pam McAfee Morgan; brother, Jackie McAfee; and half brothers, Donny Joe Salmon, Ronnie Salmon and Ernest McAfee.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Childers Hill Pentecostal Church in Counce, with Roy Bennett officiating. Burial followed at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery in Shiloh.
